As the coronavirus sweeps across our nation, more and more states mandated shutdown orders. Fortunately, state and federal aid such as the stimulus check, PPP loans, unemployment benefits, as well as other governmental assistance were implemented to help those in economic crises. However, people of undocumented and immigrant communities are particularly suffering a greal deal from the pandemic.
Undocumented immigrants, a group that makes up a significant portion of the workforce in the service and hospitality industry, have lost their livelihoods. Many lost their jobs with zero government support and do not have health insurance to seek medical treatment when they contract the coronavirus.
In an effort to help those who are in desperate need, Carepak donated to Love Global Vision Church in Clifton, New Jersey to specifically help undocumented and immigrant families. There are still so many families who are jobless and in need of support. If you would like to help, please contact us: contact@carepakpharmacy.com.
